A little about me...
I have been in the fitness industry now for almost 20 years and I believe fitness is something everyone should be engaged in for their health and wellbeing. My heart lies within group fitness, in particular exercise to music based classes where i can combine my passions for music and fitness. My mantra is that fitness should be FUN and I like that to thread through every session that I teach! Want to know more? Check out my bio below.
A bit more about me...
My passion for fitness started at a young age when I was a competitive swimmer, my 'land' training was in the gym and I very quickly found myself in fitness classes at the gym and almost immediately decided I wanted to be an instructor. At the young age of only 16 years old i taught my first Indoor cycling class and was hooked immediately. Since then my career has seen me teaching classes to people all over the UK and overseas too. My time working abroad in Lanzarote also led to the creation of my week long fitness event 'Total Body Conditioning Weeks' which has now been running at Club La Santa in Lanzarote for almost 15 years.
Back in the early days, someone once told me that if you want the people in your classes to give you close to 100% you need to give 150% every time, no exceptions, and almost 20 years down the line I still live by this rule, to each of my sessions I bring everything I have with the sole aim of getting the most out of the people I have in front of me. Nothing brings me more pleasure than to see people succeed and my classes are a part of the toolkit that they use to succeed. I also firmly believe that fitness should be FUN, so I always like to inject as much humour and 'entertainment' into my sessions as I can.

In my work as a fitness presenter I have presented in freestyle step, aerobics and conditioning. I was invited 3 years running to the DGI Convention in Copenhagen where I presented step and aerobics to Danish fitness instructors with a special workshop on delivering a 'MultiStep' format (using multiple step boxes). I have also presented on stage in the UK at IFS Blackpool and Fitcamps.
Alongside my work as a group exercise instructor and presenter, I am also a personal trainer and sports massage therapist, both of which i offer as services. I am also currently working towards my Bachelors degree in Physical Activity & Health, which will help to underpin all my practical experience with the academic knowledge.
